It has been a sensational season to this point for Inter Milan, as they are on course to regain the Serie A title. Therefore, extra attention could be placed on the Champions League for the next few weeks, as they bid to go one better than they managed last term after losing in the final against Man City. The Italian side finished second in Group D after winning three of their six matches, but they are still unbeaten in the competition this term.
Atletico Madrid are also yet to suffer a defeat in Europe this term after winning four of their six matches to top Group E. The Spanish giants finished four points clear of Lazio, and they were sensational in home matches after winning all three, scoring a total of eleven goals.

However, they are yet to find their form on the road in the Champions League this season, after dropping all their points in the group stage away from the Spanish capital. In Group E, Atletico played out away draws against both Celtic and Lazio, with their only win coming in the Netherlands against Feyenoord. Meanwhile, Inter won two of their three home matches, with their only dropped points coming in a 0-0 draw against Real Sociedad.
Inter have been strong defensively throughout the season, allowing just one goal in their three home matches in the Champions League. But, they are yet to transfer their dominant attacking record in domestic competitions into the European tournament. However, their recent form is incredibly strong, which could be hard to overlook.
