There is nothing separating Inter Milan and Real Sociedad at the top of the Group D standings as we come into the final round of matches in the Champions League. Sociedad holds the slender advantage at present, as they boast a superior goal difference to their Italian rivals. However, a victory for the hosts would secure their spot at the top of the standings on Tuesday.
This will be the first time that Inter have hosted Sociedad in a European fixture since recording a 3-0 success in September 1979. However, Sociedad have won just once in their previous nine matches against sides from Italy. Meanwhile, they are winless in their last four away games in the country.
