Match Preview
It has been a disastrous opening to the Champions League this term for Man United, as they are still looking for their first victory in the competition. The Red Devils have slipped to defeats against Bayern Munich and Galatasaray across the opening two matchdays, scoring five times but allowing seven goals.
It is the first time in history that United have kicked off the Champions League with two straight defeats. They have also lost their last three in the competition, but they have never previously lost four on the bounce. United have won two of the previous three meetings between the clubs.

Copenhagen will take confidence from the fact that they are sitting above the Red Devils in the current standings, and a victory at Old Trafford this week could see them move up to second in the table. Interestingly, Copenhagen’s first ever win in the Champions League was recorded against United in November 2006.
However, the Danish club have a poor record away from home against English opposition, as they have lost three of their last four. During that period, they have failed to score and have allowed a total of nine goals overall.
