Match Preview
Man United worked incredibly hard to force their way back into the Champions League last season, but they will need to showcase their best level of performance at the Theatre of Dreams on Tuesday to remain in contention for reaching the next round.
The Red Devils played out a thriller on matchday one in Germany, but they were eventually edged out by a 4-3 scoreline by Bayern Munich. Rasmus Hojlund scored his first goal for United in that defeat, while Casemiro found the back of the net on two occasions. However, United will need to be much better defensively on Tuesday.

Galatasaray have invested a lot in their squad throughout the summer, with the primary aim being to put up more of a fight in the Champions League this term. However, their chances of progression already appear to have been handed a blow, as they were held to a draw in their first match in Group A by FC Copenhagen.
The Turkish giants found themselves 2-0 down after an hour in that home match, but credit should be given, as they did fight back in the final ten minutes. Sacha Boey scored with four minutes remaining to give Galatasaray a lifeline, before Tete leveled the scores just two minutes later. A number of former Premier League players will be making their return to Old Trafford, including Hakim Ziyech, Mauro Icardi, Lucas Torreira, and ex-United star Wilfred Zaha.

Galatasaray haven’t won at Old Trafford in three previous visits, with the most recent coming in 2012, as United landed a 1-0 win. We expect United to get over the line on Tuesday, but the Turkish side could cause issues in the final third for the United defense.
