Match Preview
PSV will be delighted to have reached the round of 16 in the Champions League this season after finishing second in Group B. The Dutch side could only win twice in their six matches in the opening round, but the three draws that they picked up meant that they finished a point clear of Lens.
Borussia Dortmund was excellent in the opening round of the Champions League this season after topping a very competitive-looking Group F, which also contained PSG, Newcastle, and AC Milan. The German giants lost just once in six group stage matches, and they recorded three wins to finish three points clear of PSG.

Dortmund were strong on the road in the opening round of the competition, and that will give them an excellent chance in the Netherlands. The German side won at Newcastle and Milan, with their only defeat being suffered in Paris. Meanwhile, PSV avoided defeat in all three home matches in Group B, playing out draws against both Arsenal and Sevilla, before beating Lens.
This will be the first time that these sides have clashed since the 2002-03 Champions League season. On that occasion, the teams played out a 1-1 draw in Germany, before Dortmund landed a comfortable 3-1 win on the road in Eindhoven in the second group stage clash.

It is slightly surprising to see PSV listed as the favorites for this clash. There could be value in siding with the away team, as they have already picked up wins on the road in Newcastle and Milan this term in the Champions League.
