For just the fifth time in history, the Milan clubs will collide in a European fixture. The previous meetings have been positive experiences for AC Milan, as they are unbeaten in four. This is the first time that the local rivals have clashed in the Champions League since they battled in the semi-finals of the 2002-03 season, with Milan advancing on away goals.
