Match Preview
There are few more talented teams in the CONCACAF region than Mexico, but the team are still looking for their first Nations League triumph. However, their prowess in the region was evident over the summer, as they landed victory in the Gold Cup. Their form since that success has been indifferent though, which would be a concern.
Mexico have won just once in four internationals since winning the Gold Cup over the summer. They also come into this match after drawing three of their last four. However, positives would have been taken from their 2-2 draw against Germany in the most recent international break.

Honduras will be competing at this stage of the Nations League for the first time. They were solid enough in the opening round, as they finished second in the Group B standings. The nation was excellent in the final third, as they netted eight goals and conceded just once. But, this is a clear step up in opposition.
However, they come into this match in fine recent form after winning two of their last three by 4-0 scorelines. But, they will have something to find against Mexico, as they were beaten 4-0 by their CONCACAF rivals in the previous showdown between the sides in June.
Honduras vs Mexico Prediction
We expect Mexico to have few issues in overcoming this challenge in the Nations League. Therefore, we will be siding with the away side landing a routine victory on the road this week when the sides collide.
