Match Preview
The USA will be chasing more history when the Nations League resumes for the final matches this week. First up, the reigning champions will be in semi-final action in Texas on Thursday. Due to their impressive showings on the field, the USA entered the competition in the previous round, and they are the second-ranked team in the competition.
The USA was excellent in the previous round of the competition, edging to a 4-2 aggregate success over Trinidad and Tobago. All of the hard work was done in the opening leg of that showdown after landing a 3-0 success. However, America come into this match after suffering a recent 1-0 loss against Slovenia.

Jamaica were one of the shock contenders in the Gold Cup last summer, but they remain a massive price in the betting to win the CONCACAF Nations League. But, being the outsiders in this tie won’t faze them, as they upset the odds to eliminate Canada in the previous round of the competition.
Despite suffering a 2-1 home defeat in the opening leg of their quarterfinal showdown, Jamaica produced arguably their best performance in generations to register a 3-2 away win against Canada to progress on away goals. Their winning effort in that success was netted with just over ten minutes remaining by Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

This will be a tricky showdown for the U.S., as Jamaica have shown that they have what it takes to compete against the very best in the region. But, we find it hard to overlook the prospect of an American win on Thursday.
