Event Preview
The USA have been the dominant force in the CONCACAF Nations League since the introduction of the tournament, and the nation will be aiming to win the competition for the fourth straight edition in 2025.
There will be huge pressure on Pochettino over the next 12 months or so, as preparations will intensify ahead of the nation’s home World Cup in 2026.
America bring some solid recent form into this round of the Nations League after winning each of their last four matches. In the previous round of the competition, the USMNT eased through against Jamaica after recording a 5-2 aggregate success.

Panama have saved their best competitive performances for the Nations League in recent editions, finishing fourth in each of the previous two.
However, the nation’s recent results would be a major concern ahead of this match. Panama have lost each of their last two matches this year, which included a 6-1 thumping at the hands of Chile in a friendly last month.
It should also be noted that Panama were easily beaten by the United States in a friendly last October. That could leave them with a mountain to climb in California on Thursday.
