Match Preview
Wolves have been considered vulnerable in each of the last two rounds of the FA Cup after playing away from home against Championship opposition. However, they have shown their quality in both matches to ease through challenges against Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers.
Bournemouth are enjoying a season to remember in the Premier League this term, and Andoni Iraola could have his sights set on creating history with the Cherries. They eliminated West Brom easily in the third round of the FA Cup, before securing a dominant 2-0 win at Everton at the start of February to book their spot in the fifth round.

This weekend’s clash marks only the third time that Bournemouth and Wolves have collided in the FA Cup. It is the first meeting between the sides in the competition since the Cherries recorded a 1-0 win in the 1956-57 season.
Wolves recorded a 1-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend, but they haven’t recorded away wins against the same opponent in a single season since 2002-03.
The Cherries will be playing in the fifth round of the FA Cup for just the seventh time. Meanwhile, they have only achieved progression to the last eight on two occasions. Wolves have won five of their last six in the FA Cup, reaching the quarterfinals last term. But, they haven’t reached the last eight in successive campaigns since 1994-95.
Bournemouth vs. Wolves Picks
This is a very interesting tie, and it will be a completely different clash to last weekend’s showdown when Bournemouth had a man sent off. The Cherries performed well in midweek despite dropping to defeat against Brighton, and their bid for history could be maintained with a home win on Saturday.
