Match Preview
Arsenal and Liverpool previously clashed in a memorable final of the FA Cup in 2001, with the Reds coming back from a goal down to claim a 2-1 success in Cardiff. Since then, the Gunners have won each of the last three meetings between the sides in the competition. The most recent meeting was won 2-1 by the Gunners in North London in 2013-14.
Liverpool have only suffered exits in the FA Cup against Man United more regularly than against Arsenal. However, the Reds have also knocked the Gunners out of the competition on five previous occasions. Only Man United have eliminated Arsenal more frequently.

Arsenal’s home record in the FA Cup could be the key factor to consider this weekend, as the Gunners have suffered just three defeats from their last 49 home matches in the competition. Their most recent loss was suffered against Man United in 2018-19. Interestingly, all home defeats suffered by the Gunners have come since 2010.
The Reds have only exited the FA Cup on one occasion in 12 seasons in the third round. Their only exit over that period came at the hands of Wolves in 2018-19. Gabriel Jesus has performed excellently in the competition over recent seasons, netting 16 goals in 20 appearances in the tournament.
Arsenal vs Liverpool Prediction
Questions are beginning to be asked of Arsenal, and the FA Cup could present their best chance of silverware this term. However, we could see the Gunners facing a fresh setback this weekend, as our preference is for Liverpool to claim victory in North London.
