One of the English heavyweights will crash out in the fourth round of the FA Cup this weekend, as Man City travel to London to take on Tottenham. City are the defending champions after winning the competition as part of their treble-winning campaign in 2022-23.
However, City are likely to face a bigger challenge than they faced in the previous round. The reigning champions were at their dominant best in the third round of the competition, as they eased to a straightforward 5-0 home success against Huddersfield. Phil Foden netted twice in that win, while Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku also found the net.

The pressure will be on Tottenham to end their long wait for a major trophy this term, as Spurs previously won silverware in 2008 after beating Chelsea in the EFL Cup final. Tottenham were forced to battle in their previous round showdown against Burnley, with their eventual winning goal netted with just 12 minutes remaining by Pedro Porro.
However, Spurs boast a fine record against City after winning three of the last five, and five of the previous eight matches between the sides. Over the same period, City have recorded just two wins. These sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the Premier League earlier in the campaign, and City are winless on the road against Spurs since a 1-0 victory in October 2018.
