Match Preview
For the third time in just over a month, Wolves and Brentford will collide on the field. It’s very much advantage Wolves at this stage, as they landed a huge 4-1 success over the Bees in the Premier League at the end of December, before fighting to a 1-1 draw in the first match between these sides in the FA Cup on January 5.
Wolves were good value for a draw in the first meeting between the sides, as they fought back from a goal down to salvage a replay. Tommy Doyle scored an excellent leveler in that fixture. The result was even more deserved when you consider that Wolves were playing with ten men following the sending off of Joao Gomes after just nine minutes.

Brentford may consider the FA Cup to be an unwanted side issue this term, as their main aim at this stage is maintaining their Premier League status. The Bees have dropped down the standings at an alarming rate following a run of defeats, and they are now just a couple of months clear of the bottom three spots in the table.
Wolves will be favored to claim victory, and they boast an excellent record in this fixture. They will likely also be up for this match, as a potential showdown against West Brom in the fourth round has been something that fans have been craving for since the Baggies relegation from the Premier League.
Wolves vs Brentford Prediction
The pressure will be on Wolves at Molineux, as they look to set up a first Black Country derby in over five years. We expect them to achieve that feat, as we could see them registering a nervy 1-0 success over the Bees.
