Game Preview
Santos Laguna is at the bottom of the group table with one point. The Mexicans played 1-1 with Houston Dynamo in regulation but then lost on penalties. Orlando City, on the other hand, played 2-2 with the Dynamo and then went on to win the penalty shootout. The result is that the boys from Florida are one spot above Santos Laguna with two points.
Houston is currently in the top position with three points (one win after penalties and one loss after penalties). What this means is that it’s still unclear which one of these three teams will finish in the No. 1 spot, thus getting to play Inter Miami in the first round of the knockouts.

If Orlando City wins – either in regulation or after penalties – the Floridians will get to the top of the table. If Santos Laguna wins in the 90 minutes, the Mexican team will get to the top spot. If they do it after penalties, they will finish second (behind Houston), while Orlando will go home.
Santos Laguna vs. Orlando City Prediction
We think these two are very similar in terms of player quality, but there’s one major advantage that Orlando City has. Saturday’s game is played at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, which is where these guys are undefeated in their last eight games.
