Game Preview
LAFC had already played three competitive matches as they participated in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. After losing 2-1 on the road to the Colorado Rapids 2-1, they defeated them this Tuesday night, 1-0. Marco Delgado’s score in the 49th minute propelled them to the next stage.
In between, the black and gold beat Minnesota United in the opening event of the MLS season, 1-0.
New York City survived Inter Miami and Messi, taking a point from Florida in a thrilling 2-2 tie. However, we can’t say they are happy because NYCFC conceded in the tenth minute of stoppage time, with Segovia leveling the score.
This team still needs time to reach its full potential, and for the moment, we aren’t sure whether they can repeat last year’s No.6 in the East.
