Game Preview

FC Cincinnati got hammered 3-0 by DC United in the previous round, which was only the second loss of the season for Pat Noonan’s men. What happened was that Wayne Rooney’s boys were way more lethal in the offense. Each team created 17 goal attempts, with DC United making three of those count. Meanwhile, Cincy’s players failed to find the net even once.

The probable reason behind this is that their best scorer in the 2023 season, Brandon Vazquez was not in the squad due to international duties. He’ll miss Saturday’s game as he’s part of the USMNT in the 2023 Gold Cup. In addition to Vazquez, defender Matt Miazga is with the national team as well.

When it comes to the New England Revolution, only one of its players got the USMNT call-up for the Gold Cup. The man in question is DeJuan Jones, one of New England’s best defenders this season.

FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution Prediction

We think the time has come for FC Cincinnati’s brilliant home run to come to an end. Pat Noonan’s boys will not beat New England on Saturday. But will they lose to Bruce Arena’s men? We don’t think so. Instead, a draw seems like the most likely outcome.
