Game Preview
These two met in the last round of the regular season of the 2023 MLS, and we saw New England win 2-1. The game was played in Massachusetts, but this time, Philly is the host. Another difference is that this time, Philadelphia’s players will be 100% motivated.
The Union is a team with huge ambitions, which almost always does great in the playoffs. They made the postseason in each of the last five seasons, but they’ve never won the MLS Cup. They probably won’t do it in the 2023 season either, but they do seem capable of going past New England.

New England Revolution is without a single win on the road since May 6 when they beat Toronto FC, the worst team in the Eastern Conference. That said, we don’t think they can beat the Union in Philadelphia. But they definitely can give Philly players a run for their money. This is going to be a very close game, but the hosts will probably grab a win.
