Seattle Sounders vs. FC Dallas is a duel between two in-form teams, each without a single loss since August. Game Preview
The Seattle Sounders were brilliant in the regular season of the 2023 MLS, especially in the final couple of months. They’re on a great run right now with zero losses since losing to Atlanta United in August.
The loss in question happened on their turf, but this doesn’t mean they don’t like playing in Seattle. They do, especially against FC Dallas. The Sounders are without a single home loss in competitive games against FC Dallas since 2011. Their most recent duel at Lumen Field, however, ended in a 1-1 draw.

The visitors did fantastic at the back in that game, stopping the Sounders from scoring more than one goal despite making 17 goal attempts. And even the goal they scored was actually an own goal by one of FC Dallas’ players.
Seattle Sounders vs. FC Dallas Prediction
Seattle is a much better team than Dallas, but the Texans just love playing big games. They usually show up against strong favorites, which is no surprise given that they’ve got some very lethal strikers (e.g., Jesus Ferreira, Jader Obrian, etc.).
That said, we do think they’re going to give the Sounders a run for their money, possibly scoring a goal. However, we doubt that’s going to be enough to avoid a loss on Monday.
