Mikel Arteta has cut a frustrated figure in recent weeks, as Arsenal’s wait for a major piece of silverware looks set to continue. The Gunners sit six points off the pace in the Premier League standings, while they gave themselves a mountain to climb after losing their first leg against Newcastle in the EFL Cup last week.
