Diego Costa’s first Premier League goal in six years set Wolves on their way to victory over Brentford on Saturday. The Bees struggled to break down the side from Wolverhampton and talismanic striker Ivan Toney was unable to get the better of his markers for large periods of the game. Aston Villa ended Newcastle’s winning streak in fine style on Saturday at Villa Park. Two goals from Ollie Watkins and one from Jacob Ramsey secured a 3-0 win for the Villains but in truth, the West Midlands side could have scored many more. Watkins hit the post and Ramsey the crossbar in the first half, and Watkins had another goal ruled out for offside after a VAR check.
