Match Preview
Enzo Maresca has enjoyed an excellent start to life at Chelsea, despite many fearing for the former Leicester coach after taking the job in the summer. The Blues sit second in the Premier League standings, winning nine of their 15 matches.
Their run of four straight victories means that they have left Arsenal and Man City, and the Blues are now the standalone second-place team in the standings. However, Maresca has continued to play down title talk, despite sitting just four points behind Liverpool.

Thomas Frank deserves huge credit for the job that he is continuing to do at Brentford. The Bees come into this weekend sitting ninth in the standings, and they are just two points adrift of the top five places following a deserved win at home against Newcastle last Saturday.
Brentford have a very impressive record in away matches against Chelsea, winning on their three previous trips to Stamford Bridge. Interestingly, none of the last six league meetings between these sides have been won by the away team.
Chelsea’s attack continues to flourish at this stage of the season, having scored at least three goals per game across their last four wins. The Blues haven’t recorded five straight wins while scoring at least three per game since December 1954.
Chelsea vs. Brentford Picks
Chelsea’s form looks rock-solid coming into this round, but questions can still be asked of them defensively. Therefore, a chance could be taken on Brentford to maintain their excellent recent record at Stamford Bridge.
