Match Preview
Enzo Maresca once again reiterated that his side aren’t in the Premier League title race after Chelsea dropped points at Everton on Sunday.
The draw means that the Blues missed out on the chance to leap frog Liverpool for at least a couple of hours, and means that they now have just a two-point advantage over third-placed Arsenal.
Despite that, it’s hard to argue against the fact that Chelsea are enjoying an excellent season in the Premier League. The Blues have suffered just two defeats in their 17 league outings this term, and only Liverpool have won more matches. Chelsea have also won four of their last five matches in the competition.

Fulham have been a standout team in the Premier League this season, and they may yet have their sights set on a European finish. The Cottagers have saw draws hinder their progress in recent weeks after playing out ties in each of their last three, and four of their last five.
Despite that, Fulham remain in the top half of the standings, and they could end the round of matches on Boxing Day as high as fifth in the standings.
Fulham could present a value angle in the betting this weekend, as they have already shown their quality on the road against top-six sides this term. They narrowly missed out on a point at Man City earlier in the season, while they gained a draw at Liverpool at the start of December.

Chelsea’s attacking form was halted by a defensively sound Everton on Sunday, but this week’s showdown on Thursday could see the eyes on their defensive limitations. Fulham’s excellent counter-attacking quality could make them an interesting bet to get a point at Stamford Bridge.
