Something will need to give at Goodison Park this weekend, as Everton and Crystal Palace both come into the sixth round of matches having failed to record a single win this term. Palace sit in a slightly stronger position, having played out draws in each of their last three. The Toffees picked up a first point of the season at Leicester last Saturday.
Everton’s record in this fixture deserves a lot of attention this weekend. The Toffees have lost just once in their last 19 league matches against the Eagles, winning on nine occasions across that period. The only win for Palace over that period was recorded at Selhurst Park in December 2021.

Palace recorded victories in four of their first six away Premier League matches against the Toffees. However, since then, they are winless in nine trips to Selhurst Park across all competitions. Four of which have ended in draws, with the remaining five resulting in wins for Everton.
