Match Preview
Brighton have made an excellent start to the Premier League season in 2024-25. However, the Seagulls missed a golden opportunity to move up to second in the standings last Friday after playing out a 1-1 draw against Southampton.
Despite that setback, Brighton have lost just once in their last five, and they come into this round after winning two of their previous three.
Fulham would have gained confidence from their recent outing after battling to a 1-1 draw at Tottenham. Despite that result, the Cottagers are now winless in their last two in the Premier League.
However, a return to winning ways on Thursday could see them move within striking distance of the European places.

Fulham have an eye-catching record against the Seagulls, avoiding defeat in all eight Premier League meetings between the sides. Over that period, they have recorded four wins and played out the same number of draws.
Brighton’s record in the capital could also be hard to dismiss this week. The Seagulls have failed to win on their last nine trips to London, losing on five occasions across that period.
