Match Preview
The pressure was eased on Gary O’Neil before the international break, as Wolves secured a much-needed first victory of the season against Southampton. Matheus Cunha was the standout star, netting an excellent goal to wrap up the points.
The victory against the Saints ended a 13-game winless streak for Wolves, and it was their first win since beating Luton Town in April.
Meanwhile, Wolves also managed to keep their first clean sheet in 23 Premier League outings. That bodes well for their chances at Craven Cottage this weekend.

Fulham should be full of confidence ahead of this showdown after winning their last two, and taking seven points from their last nine matches. Their most recent outing ended in a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace, with Harry Wilson netting his third goal in two matches.
The success enhanced Fulham’s record in London derbies, as the Cottagers have now won six of their last ten. Meanwhile, they have never enjoyed a longer unbeaten sequence against sides from the capital.
Wolves have avoided defeat in seven of their last eight Premier League matches against Fulham, with the only exception coming in this exact fixture last term.
Fulham vs. Wolves Picks
Fulham’s form has been excellent in recent weeks, and it could be hard to ignore before making picks. However, the slight preference is for the draw on Saturday.
Two of the last four meetings between the sides have ended level, and Wolves have suffered just one defeat against the Cottagers since returning to the top-flight.
