Match Preview
Not for the first time, Erik ten Hag comes into a Premier League weekend with the pressure increasing. Man United have played out successive draws in their last two matches across all competitions, with their latest coming at Old Trafford against FC Twente in their Europa League opener on Thursday.
Tottenham have won twice in five outings this term, and they will be chasing a second straight victory following an impressive win at home against Brentford last Saturday. A victory this weekend would put Spurs within striking distance of the Champions League spots in the Premier League.

United have recorded victories in 24 home matches against Tottenham. However, Spurs are unbeaten in their last three against the Red Devils, with two of those matches ending in draws. United’s recent record at the Theatre of Dreams is very poor, losing seven of their last 19.
Tottenham have also endured issues on the road, picking up just 14 points from their last 15 away matches in the competition. Interestingly, no side in the Premier League has picked up fewer points on their travels since the start of November than Spurs.
Man United vs. Tottenham Picks
United’s performances haven’t been as bad as the pressure on ten Hag would suggest in recent weeks. For that reason, we will be siding with United to maintain their excellent record at Old Trafford against Tottenham.
