Man United’s 0-0 draw with Southampton was a fairly dismal affair, with the only highlight one which Casemiro will wish to forget. The Brazilian midfielder was dismissed after 34 minutes for a tackle on Carlos Alcaraz following a VAR check. It is the midfielder’s second red card in the space of a month and he will miss four matches as a result.
Prediction
Newcastle’s form has improved over recent weeks and they will be looking for revenge after February’s league cup final defeat to Man United. Man United will be hoping to get their own form back on track after a stumble but the loss of Casemiro will make the task harder for them. There will be plenty of action in this one and a draw seems the most likely result.
