Match Preview
Two of the Premier League’s top three lock horns on Wednesday, as Nottingham Forest host Arsenal. The Gunners sit second in the standings, and they are now eleven points adrift of Liverpool after suffering a shock home defeat at the hands of West Ham. That defeat means that the Gunners have now lost three matches this term.
Nottingham Forest will also have questions to answer this week after suffering defeats in three of their last four. The Tricky Trees have also lost each of their last two, which includes a classic 4-3 against Newcastle on Sunday.

Nottingham Forest don’t have the most impressive record in this fixture after suffering defeats in seven of the last eight against the Gunners. The only exception to that losing sequence was recorded with a home win in May 2023.
Arsenal recorded a 2-1 success on their latest trip to the City Ground, but they haven’t won on successive visits to the East Midlands since 1990. But, it is worth noting that Arsenal have recorded 12 wins from 13 matches in their last midweek fixtures.
Nottingham Forest’s home record continues to catch the eye this season, as they have won five of their last six, and have avoided defeat in every fixture across that period.
Nottingham Forest vs. Arsenal Picks
Arsenal’s attacking issues continue to be plainly obvious, and that is a major concern against a defensively sound opponent this week. Therefore, we could see the Gunners dropping more points at the City Ground.
