Match Preview
It has been an incredibly consistent start to the Premier League for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool this term. The Reds sit top of the standings at the half way stage after suffering a league-low of just one defeat this term. Liverpool come into this weekend after winning each of their last four across all competitions, and they have won three of their last five in the league.
The Reds were excellent in their most recent league match, as they recorded a 4-2 home win against Newcastle on New Year’s Day. Mohamed Salah netted a brace in that victory, but the club will be without their influential forward for the remainder of the month, as he competes for his national side at AFCON.

Bournemouth have easily opened up a cushion over themselves and the relegation places in the league standings, and they are now nine points clear of the bottom three. The Cherries have won four of their last five matches in the league, and they will be hopeful of a response this weekend after suffering a defeat in their previous match in the competition.
Bournemouth landed a 1-0 win in this exact fixture last term, which was their first victory against the Reds in the Premier League since December 2016. Liverpool have already won at the Vitality this term after recording a 2-1 success in the EFL Cup in November. Meanwhile, the Reds have netted 31 goals in the last nine matches against the Cherries.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool Prediction
This will be a testing fixture for Liverpool without Salah this weekend. However, we find it very challenging to overlook the Reds based on their excellent record against the Cherries.
