Match Preview

Brighton & Hove Albion have made an excellent start to the new Premier League season, and they could move into the Champions League spots with victory on Sunday. The Seagulls were excellent in their latest fixture in the league, as they cruised to a famous 3-1 win at Old Trafford against Manchester United last Saturday.

Brighton have been one of the most enjoyable teams to watch in England this season, as their fixtures have seen a league-high of 22 goals scored. Meanwhile, the Seagulls have scored more goals than any other side in the Premier League. However, they will be looking to land three straight wins in the division for the first time since October 2018 on Sunday.

Bournemouth are still waiting for their first league win of the season this term, but they come into this fixture after playing out draws in each of their last two. Their most recent tie came against Chelsea, as they held on to a 0-0 draw at the Vitality Stadium. But, a first league win of the season is required to lift them clear of the relegation places.

Bournemouth are currently on a run of nine Premier League matches without a victory, which is the longest winless sequence of any side in the competition. This is also the first time since the 2008-09 season that they have failed to win each of their opening five matches at the start of the season.

Brighton vs Bournemouth Prediction

Brighton have won three of their last four against the Cherries, but we could see a shock being on the cards this weekend given that the Seagulls will take time to adjust to these European weeks. Therefore, a chance is taken on the draw this weekend.
