Match Preview
After a stuttering start to the new season, Everton finally landed a first victory of the campaign on matchday six. The Toffees were excellent at Brentford, as they landed a dramatic 3-1 win on the road. However, a second straight win this weekend will ease any early worries that they may suffer relegation to the second tier this term.
Everton will be chasing a second straight victory in the Premier League for just the second time since the start of last season. They previously won back-to-back games in September and October 2022. However, the Toffees have lost each of their opening three matches this term at Goodison Park without scoring.

Luton finally opened their account for the new season last Saturday, as they struck back to secure a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road against Wolves. However, there was more than a glimmer of fortune in regards to the penalty that they were awarded to level the scores.
The Hatters are yet to win in the Premier League this term. They have only gone on longer winless runs at the start of a top-flight season on three previous occasions. However, Luton are winless in their last six league matches against the Toffees, losing on three occasions over that period.
Everton vs Luton Prediction
There was a confidence about Everton’s performance against Brentford last weekend, and they could be good value to pick up a second straight win this weekend. The Toffees are the preference on Saturday, but a low-scoring affair is likely.
