Match Preview
It has been a mixed start to the new season for Fulham, but questions certainly hang over their credentials this term, as they look to improve on their solid first campaign back in the Premier League. The Cottagers were swatted aside by Man City in their final match before the international break, as they suffered a 5-1 loss at the Etihad.
Tim Ream had dragged Fulham level in that match, but the game was taken away from the visitors following a hat-trick for Erling Haaland in the second period. However, that result wasn’t a huge shock, as Fulham have now lost each of their previous 15 matches against City across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Luton Town have been given a rude awakening following their heroic return to the top-flight. They are yet to win in three league matches this term, and they have conceded nine goals across their opening games this term. The latest of those came in their first home match of the season, as they suffered a 2-1 loss against West Ham United.
Luton looked inferior to their rivals in all aspects throughout that match, and the next three weeks look set to shape their season. However, they made unwanted history in their previous match, as they became only the sixth side to lose each of their opening three matches in their debut Premier League campaign.

Fulham are unbeaten in their last seven matches against Luton across all competitions, which includes a 7-0 win in the latest fixture between the sides. We expect a lower scoreline this weekend, but it’s hard to oppose the Cottagers.
