A disappointing start to the new Premier League season reached a new low for Erik ten Hag and his Man United side last Sunday, as they were outplayed, and out battled against their local rivals in the first Manchester derby of the season. City stormed to a 3-0 win, but United were likely fortunate that they were only losers by a three-game margin.
It was a fifth defeat of the season for the Red Devils, marking the most losses that the club have suffered in their opening ten matches since the 1986-87 season.
