It has been a dream start to the new Premier League season for the reigning champions, as Man City sit two points clear at the top of the standings after winning each of their opening five matches. City have scored 14 goals across their five fixtures this term, and they have allowed just three, which means that they have the best defense in the division.
City will be looking to land six straight victories to start the new season for just the second time in their history. However, only one previous champion has achieved that feat.
