Match Preview
The pressure was once again on Erik ten Hag in midweek, as Man United found themselves in the middle of yet another crisis. However, the Dutch coach would have been delighted by the performance of his side at Old Trafford against Chelsea, as they bossed proceedings to claim a 2-1 victory against the Blues.
Ten Hag made the big decision to leave out Marcus Rashford, but that was vindicated following excellent performances by Alejandro Garnacho and Anthony. Scott McTominay was once again the goalscoring hero for the Red Devils, as the Scottish international scored both efforts in a man-of-the-match display. Backing that excellent home win up on Saturday will now be the big question for United.

Bournemouth have clicked into gear in the Premier League since the previous international break, as they have now won three of their last four. The Cherries are also unbeaten over that period, which has opened up a nine-point advantage over the bottom three places in the standings. Bournemouth were excellent in midweek, as they landed a commanding 2-0 win on the road against Crystal Palace.
The Cherries have landed just two wins in 12 Premier League meetings against the Red Devils, and they are yet to record an away win at Old Trafford since returning to the top-flight in 2015. United have won each of their last four home matches against Bournemouth, averaging four goals per game across those matches.

Man United put on an excellent display in midweek against Chelsea, and they will be expected to produce a similar performance this weekend. Bournemouth will make things very hard for the Red Devils, but we struggle to overlook United claiming a home win.
