Match Preview
Chelsea and Newcastle will both be aiming for a European finish this term, but it’s unlikely that both teams will finish in the top six. The Blues have finally got on track under Mauricio Pochettino, as they come into this fixture after taking four points from a possible six after showdowns with Tottenham and Manchester City.
Their 4-4 draw against City before the international break was one of the matches of the season, and they were excellent value for a point in that clash with the champions. Cole Palmer has been an excellent signing for the Blues, and the winger netted the equalizer in that draw at Stamford Bridge.
