Leicester’s stay in the Premier League could be coming to an end this term. In fact, they could be relegated as early as Monday depending on other results across the English top-flight. If Everton and Leeds both claim wins this weekend, then a defeat at St James’ Park would condemn the Foxes to the Championship. Leicester doesn’t come into this match with much form behind them, as they have lost each of their last two.

Leicester currently sits 19th in the standings, and only a win on Monday could potentially lift them out of the drop zone. But, they are certainly more than capable of achieving that, as they have excellent quality in the final third of the field with players such as James Maddison, Jamie Vardy, and Harvey Barnes.

This also looks set to be a pivotal game in the Premier League on Monday for Newcastle, as they still need victories to ensure their place in the top-four. They could wrap up a top-four finish on Monday if Liverpool loses at home to Aston Villa. But, the Magpies will need to bounce back to form after going two without a win in the Premier League.
Newcastle’s home record was also slightly dented in their previous fixture, as they fell to a defeat against Arsenal. Last weekend, they were denied maximum points on the road against Leeds after the Whites equalized late in the showdown.
