Match Preview
There will be pressure on both of these Premier League sides ahead of this fixture on Saturday, as both could face the threat of relegation this term. Nottingham Forest’s current position is a lot stronger, as they sit 15th after winning three of their opening 13 matches. However, Forest come into the weekend after losing each of their last two.
Everton looked to be looking ahead before the international break after winning two from three. However, their survival bid was handed a blow following a ten-point deduction that dropped them back into the bottom three. They come into this match after being well beaten by Man United in their previous match at Goodison Park.

Both meetings between these sides ended in draws last term, which means that the Toffees are now unbeaten in their last three away league matches against Forest. However, Everton have never previously gone four matches without defeat at the City Ground. But, Forest hasn’t recorded a home win against the Toffees since a 3-2 success in September 1995.
Interestingly, Forest have lost each of their last two matches by a 3-2 scoreline. Since the start of last season, no side in the Premier League has lost more games despite scoring at least two goals in a match. Forest were beaten at the City Ground in their previous match by Brighton, which ended their eight-game unbeaten home record in the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest vs Everton Prediction
This is a tricky game to call this weekend, as both of these sides will be chasing maximum points. However, despite being well beaten by United last weekend, Everton showed that there is an attacking threat within their side. Therefore, we will be siding with the Toffees to continue their decent run of form away from home at the City Ground.
