Match Preview
Tottenham made an excellent start to the season, as they sat top of the standings before the October international break. However, their form has fallen away in recent weeks, as they have gone four without a win in the Premier League. Over that period, they have suffered three defeats. But, huge confidence would have been taken from their thrilling 3-3 draw against Man City last weekend.
West Ham continue to excel this term, as they sit ninth in the Premier League standings. The Hammers could improve their position with a win on Thursday, as they could end the round as high as seventh. The East London side comes into this fixture after going three without a loss.

Tottenham have excelled in recent matches against the Hammers, as they have won each of their last two. However, they haven’t enjoyed a longer winning run against West Ham since winning four on the bounce between 2006 and 2009. West Ham were the first winning visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but they have lost on three of their four previous visits.
The Hammers have a poor record in away London derbies, as they have suffered nine defeats in their previous ten. Their only win over that period was a 1-0 success at Fulham in April. Spurs were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea in their last derby, but they haven’t lost back-to-home London derbies since November 2004.
Tottenham vs West Ham Prediction
Tottenham boasts the better record in this fixture, and that could be hard to overlook. However, their limitations in the defensive part of the field mean that it looks likely that a draw could be the standout selection.
