Match Preview
Christmas Eve action in the Premier League will take place at Molineux, as Wolves look to get back on track after going two league matches without a win. The West Midlands side remain in a healthy position in the league standings, sitting ten points above the drop zone. However, a response will be required following a defeat in their latest match.
It was a really disappointing weekend for Wolves last time out. Gary O’Neill’s side were thumped 3-0 at the London Stadium by West Ham, with Wolves recording just three shots on target. The loss was the 13th that the team from the Black Country has suffered on the road in 2023, which is the joint-most of any side in the competition this year.

There will be confidence in the Chelsea dressing room coming into the festive period, with the Blues winning each of their last two across all competitions. Mauricio Pochettino would have been delighted with his side’s performance in midweek, as they struck a late equalizer before claiming a penalty shootout win against Newcastle in the quarterfinals of the EFL Cup.
Chelsea were also winners in their latest match in the Premier League, securing maximum points at Stamford Bridge against Sheffield United. That was their second straight win at home, ending a wait of over a year to win back-to-back matches in front of their home fans.
Wolves vs Chelsea Prediction
Wolves have suffered just one defeat in their last six league matches against Chelsea, and they haven’t lost at home against the Blues since September 2019. Despite a recent upturn in form, we will be more than happy to take the home side at the current odds available.
