Game Preview
Napoli hasn’t won in the last four meetings. After three ties they lost to Como on the road the previous weekend, 2-1. There is something happening with Napoli, and we can’t say what it is. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is out, but the offense isn’t as problematic as defense.
Antonio Conte’s unit allowed at least a goal in the past six straight Serie A fixtures. All of them ended with both teams netting but as you saw, there weren’t many wins there.
Inter is slowly preparing for the most important part of the year. Following a period of shady performances, they now have back-to-back wins. They’ve beaten Genoa 1-0 in Serie A and Lazio 2-0 in Coppa Italia this Tuesday.
More importantly, the defense is back in the saddle, posting clean sheets. That didn’t often happen through the first part of February, once they had four straight with a goal conceded.
