However, only a victory will do for the host nation this weekend, and they face a daunting challenge against a Swiss side that has looked strong in their opening two matches. New Zealand wasn’t able to back up their opening night win over Norway in their previous match, as they were edged out by the Philippines.
That was a shock defeat for the host nation, but they struggled in the final third throughout the second period.
