One of the most exciting WWE events of the year takes place in January, as the Road to WrestleMania gets underway at the Royal Rumble. The menâs and womenâs Royal Rumble matches will headline the card, with a huge Fatal Four Way for the Undisputed WWE Championship also set.

This yearâs Menâs Royal Rumble match is one of the most hotly anticipated in history. CM Punkâs return to the WWE after a near ten-year absence at Survivor Series created such a buzz online, with few expecting the day that he would return to ever come.
It looks hard to overlook the Straightedge Superstar winning the Rumble this year and headlining WrestleMania for the first time against Seth Rollins. The Rock could appear at the PPV, but it could come earlier in the night, while Cody Rhodes likely doesnât need to win the Rumble this year to finish his story against Roman Reigns.

Jade Cargill is an interesting contender, but the WWE would have to have enormous faith in putting her over in this match on her debut. Therefore, we could see Bayley winning the rumble before taking on stablemate Iyo Sky at Mania.

The Undisputed WWE Championship match between four of the biggest superstars on SmackDown should make for thrilling viewing at the Rumble. The Rockâs recent return to the WWE means that a match with Reigns has been teased, and an appearance from the Great One could be easy to foresee.
But, we could see it coming after the match following another dirty win by Reigns with the help of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
