Game Preview
The Bucks traded one of their legends, Khris Middleton, to the Washington Wizards in return for Kyle Kuzma. From our perspective, this should be a good move because Kuz provides power around the rim and a touch of athleticism.
Milwaukee has 43.9 boards per game and is in the middle of the rankings for that category. Now Kuzma adds only 5.8 boards this year, though, be sure that those numbers are going to increase in Wisconsin, along with his 33.4% three-point shooting.
The Hawks are in free-fall, having won just one game in the last ten. Trade talks, numerous players, and a drop in form all caused this to happen at the worst possible moment.
Beating the Pistons was followed by a narrow loss at home to the San Antonio Spurs, 125-126, which definitely hurt a lot. The Hawks are now the third-worst defense in the league allowing 119 points per game.
Bucks vs. Hawks Head to Head
In the opening two games of the year, both in Milwaukee, each team won one game: the Hawks 119-104 in the first clash and the Bucks 110-102 in the following.
Bucks vs. Hawks Prediction
Milwaukee Bucks are our pick to win here, despite their unstable form and the fact that the Hawks are hosts. Atlanta’s players are low on morale here, and overall, it seems that the chemistry is slowly falling apart, so we bet on the Bucks.
