Game Preview
Honestly, we don’t know what is happening with the Pelicans this year. They are 5-21, and without any prospects of getting better. We’ve been talking for a while about Zion being a liability, which turned out right.
He played six games this year and had good numbers, 22.7 points, and 8 boards, but that’s ridiculous compared to the money and hype he has. Until he is out of the picture from New York, the Pels won’t be a competitive team.
On the other side are the Pacers, who also underachieve too heavily. We projected them to fight for the Eastern Conference title, but so far, they aren’t sure about reaching the playoffs.
Tyrese Haliburton shoots only 42.6% from the field and averages 18 points. These are not the numbers we expected from one of the NBA’s best players last year. However, he improved over the previous ten events, dropping 22.1 buckets.
Pelicans vs. Pacers Head to Head
There were two games between these teams. In both, the hosts won, 125-118 for the Pelicans and 114-110 for Indiana.
Pelicans vs. Pacers Prediction
The Pacers are a better team, and have a home-court advantage. Also, Brandon Ingram might be out for this one, though it’s not 100%. This is why we bet on the Indiana Pacers to win.
