Game Preview
Holger Rune dropped two sets in Indian Wells, one against Humert in the second round and one in the quarterfinals, where he met Griekspoor. He caught a good rhythm and pushed all the way in Indian Wells.
Despite being an underdog against Medvedev, the Danish player won in straight sets, beating the Russian 2-0, 7-5, 6-4. He had a slightly better serve and converted three of his four break points.
Jack Draper’s odds didn’t give him too many chances against Carlos Alcaraz, but the Australian fought bravely to eliminate the Spaniard 2-1.
After winning the opening set furiously, 6-1, Alcaraz responded even harder, 6-0. In the third set, we saw Draper edging out the rival, 6-4. He matched Carlitos’ energy, stepped up and took the W.

It’s evident that both guys play good tennis, though we need to say that Rune advanced against Medvedev due to the Russian’s mistakes. The Dane had 28 unforced errors as well, suggesting that he wasn’t that confident. Meanwhile, Draper competed with Alcaraz and had to adjust during the game to advance. So after analyzing both guys, we had to give Draper a slight edge and bet on his win.
